Citadel Grotto
It is the biggest Grotto in Giza Zoo . It was established by the Turkish engineer Saypos in 1867.

It is covered with coral reefs from the Red sea, fossil woods and rocks from the Egyptian Desert. On the roof, there is a beautiful garden with a group of rear cactus plants. Its walks are covered with colored pebbles on shapes of animals and architectural designs

The Grotto has wonderful small waterfalls, which fall in the Pelicans' Lake. The main Khidevy hall is designed to be air conditioned all the time, and works as echo system.

There are many statues for different animals, such as Fayom's extinct Rhino, crocodiles and some birds.
